Script Factor 2024/25 - Heat 2

Monday 18 November. We are back we Yorkshire longest running Knock-Out script writing contest. 5 writers, each bring along a 15 minute script to be performed, script in hand, by local actors in the audience who only see the script on the evening. You, the audience get to chose a favourite to go forward to our seasonal final on July 6th.

This time the writers have a theme to stick to. We’ve always had always fun with colour based themes, so, inspired by a week’s holiday in Scotland, our theme will be GREY (or GRAY).

Anything grey is permitted: you might see a pocket sized bio-play of our greyest Prime Minister, or a battle of wills with a bird food stealing squirrel, or a heart rending play about the shock of the appearance of that first mortality reminding grey hair. We might even be treated to a Perhaps a Greylag gets your goose. With luck we will be witness to a theatre of the absurd interpretation of a conversation between Dallas’s Linda Gray and her two shoulder pads. There’s only one way to find out. Grab your tickets.
