Screenwriting Camp: From the Idea to the Page

Students will learn the basics of screenwriting, including familiarizing themselves with the formatting of a screenplay page and understanding how to take an idea and turn it into a cinematic story.
Aside from the basic tools needed to write a screenplay, students will leave the camp with an outline to set them on the path towards completing their own feature-length screenplay, as well as the first 15-30 pages of their script!
We’re looking for teens who are:
Writing scripts, short stories, or enjoy storytelling!
Interested in how screenplays shape the movie-making process.
Willing to share ideas, drafts, and participate in live writing exercises.
Open to receiving and giving feedback to strengthen their work.
