Rhiana Yazzi is a playwright, director, filmmaker and Artistic Director of New Native Theatre, which she started in 2009 to create more professional opportunities in the Twin Cities for the Native community. A Navajo Nation citizen, her plays have been seen on stages from Alaska to Mexico.
She was a staff writer on AMC’s “Dark Winds” series and writer/director/producer and actor on her first feature in 2023, “Winter Love”. Rhiana is a graduate of the Masters of Professional Writing Program at the University of Southern California.
