In acknowledgement of May as Mental Health Month, SCREENTALK NJ is proud to present three short films from an award winning lineup of visionary Directors. These moving short films will explore various stages of mental health in the Black community and the impact burdening people from all walks of life. The film screenings will be immediately followed by an interactive chat / Q&A moderated by community activist / filmmaker / mental health advocate Diandra Marie.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Diandra Marie is a fierce mental health advocate who uses her story and platform to break the stigma surrounding mental health. She is a Public speaker, motivatior and moderator who has led various panels, prduced a short film, facilitates and packaged one on one interviews with mental health professionals on her podcast IMPOSTER SYNDROM
