Join Us for a Special Screening: What’s Eating Iowa? ***Tickets will be on sale for this event***details to follow***
I’m excited to invite you to a screening of the docuseries What’s Eating Iowa? — a powerful look at the challenges facing our state’s land, water, and communities.
This series explores the environmental pressures facing Iowa’s rivers and streams, the impact of industrial agriculture, and what it all means for our health, economy, and future. It’s thoughtful, fact-based storytelling that asks important questions about stewardship, sustainability, and accountability right here at home.
Location: The Last Picture House
Saturday, March 7
4:30 PM
Following the screening, we’ll have a special Q&A with Pulitzer Prize winner Art Cullen, whose award-winning journalism has long focused on Iowa’s environment, agriculture, and public policy.
I’ll be hosting the event, and I hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of learning, conversation, and community.
Even better — proceeds from this event will benefit the “Free Mammography Voucher Program” provided by the Genesis Foundation, helping ensure women in our community have access to lifesaving screenings.
Important Iowa issues. Meaningful local impact.
Hope to see you there!
