The Harriton Association and the Welsh Society of Philadelphia invite you to join them for a screening of the unique one-off BBC Cymru television production of Dylan Thomas's famous 'play for voices'. First broadcast in 2014, the production was part of a live event organized by National Theater Wales. Featuring a star-studded cast including Michael Sheen, Sir Tom Jones, Matthew Rhys, Ioan Gruffudd, Siân Phillips, Jonathan Pryce, Bryn Terfel and Katherine Jenkins this performance of Under Milk Wood combines a collage of famous voices, face, and images to breathe new life into Thomas' 1954 radio drama.
The screening will take place at historic Harriton House in the Bank Barn Classroom (also known as the Administration Building). Seating is limited and tickets are free, donations to support the work of the Harriton Association are welcome at the door. The Bank Barn Classroom is accessible with handicapped parking spaces available outside the building. Guests not requiring handicapped accommodations should park in the main lot.
Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. before the screening which will begin at 7:00 p.m.
