I am happy to announce that together with Shannon Cohn, the director of Endo What, we will be screening Below the Belt, a powerful documentary aimed at shedding light on the struggles of endometriosis sufferers. Join us at Athinaion Cinemas 1 & 2 in Athens on 2nd of July at 8:15 PM for light snacks and beverages, the screening and a panel discussion.Over these years that I am dealing with endometriosis, I have met many great people that have inspired me to do better, to learn more about endometriosis and educate others. Endometriosis is no doubt a disease that can impact all aspects of one's life, and a disease that is often underlooked in healthcare national plans. As a society, as doctors we owe endometriosis sufferers better care. A change that requires partnership and collaboration.
Although I have not seen it so far, I am sure that Below the Belt is an inspirational documentary and one that will help many patients.
