These classes are open to all artists—whether professional or beginner—in dance, art history, visual arts, theatre, music, or film. They offer a hands-on introduction to screendance, focusing on how to shoot short videodance films using a simple android phone camera. We will examine screendance&improvisation history, references and physical practice.

Short Bio:
Sabina-Andrea Allen is a Greek-American choreographer and performer. Currently based in Athens. She is a graduate of The American College of Greece (Deree) with a degree in Contemporary Dance Practice BA (Hons). She was selected as an artist-in-residence choreographer at U(R)TOPIAS-Academy of Choreography, AERITES, ELEUSIS Festival 23-24. As a Co-Founder of Corpus Franca Company, she has presented 'The Doubles' at To Pano Spiti and many of her pieces and videodance works have been displayed on various screendance festivals worldwide including AVDP, DDC, TCI. Her videodance "Dialogus inter Feminas et Natura" was officially selected by 1st international Eco-performance festival 2021 Sao Paolo, Brazil, Screen Dance International 2020 (Project Michigan) She has collaborated with artists such as Ana Sanchez Colberg, with Naxatras, Ming Beck, D3lta, Nefleli, Alexis Mourtzanos, Ben Halford etc. During the past years, She has participated in various type of online screendance workshops by Franck Boulegue and Marisa C. Hayes. Currently, she also teaches her dance improvisation method 'Body in Playground' at DOS_space.
