Join us on Saturday 11th May 2024 for a talk and Q&A with our friend Emma Brackenbury, costume maker for film and theatre, who will explore creative practice and processes in costume making and engineering.
Emma will tell us about her experience in the film industry, working on various Marvel, Disney and Warner Bros. films.
Emma will also explore the challenges she has faced during her career, and what she has discovered about creative practice and processes within the wider community.
There will also be a Q&A.
This talk will be suitable for anyone interested in a wide range of sewing and textile practices as well as costume makers. Adults (or accompanied teens) only.
The talk is held at Scrap, first floor The Spinning Mill, Sunny Bank Mills, Farsley, Leeds LS28 5UJ.
