Do you have a couple free hours? We need volunteers! Come down to the shop and help us organize, clean, scrap, or wrench on bikes! No experience necessary, we'll have a lead volunteer present to assist with questions. While we try to repair every bike that comes in our door, the fact is some of them are truly at the end of their life...scrap happens! Scrapping bikes is fun because you pretty much can't mess it up. If a bike is not in repairable condition we'll be tearing it apart to save any good bits and then recycle all metal and rubber.
Come and go as you're able, 1 hour or 5 hours...any time you have to give is amazing! What do you need to volunteer?
• closed toed shoes
• you'll sign a tool waiver when you arrive
• under age 18 need a parent's signature
• under age 13 need an adult present whole time
• optional, bring a snack and your favorite beverage
Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, but you can come volunteer any day we're open!
