In this gentle mixed media workshop, participants will create a small fabric moth (approximately 4–6 inches) using reclaimed fabric scraps, texture, and stitch. We’ll begin by forming a base using a provided moth template, then layer and shape the wings and body with an assortment of fabric pieces. Guests may attach materials using hand stitching or hot glue, making this class welcoming for all skill levels. Once the moth is assembled, we’ll add decorative embroidery and subtle details to bring each piece to life from stitched patterns to delicate accents that make every moth uniquely its own. This project celebrates softness, transformation, and the quiet beauty found in small things. All materials are provided, and participants are welcome to bring special fabric scraps or threads to personalize their moth. Leave with a tiny, textile moth full of character perfect for display, gifting, or adding to a growing collection of handmade creatures.
