Get ready to chill for a cause … literally! The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service is hosting its very first Polar Plunge in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics, and we want you to take the plunge with us!Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a brave community champion, or someone who just really likes saying, “I jumped into freezing water for charity,” this event is for you. Everyone and anyone can plunge! Bring your friends, coworkers, or form a team and take the icy leap together … we promise it’s a memory you won’t forget (and possibly won’t feel your toes after).
How It Works:
* Register as an individual or assemble your team of fellow ice warriors.
* Collect pledges … because freezing your butt off should at least raise some funds for an incredible cause.
* Suit up in your wildest costume, uniform, or winter gear.
*PLUNGE IN! Quick, cold, and guaranteed to be the coolest thing you do all year.
Why Take the Plunge?
All proceeds go directly to Special Olympics Ontario through the LETR, supporting athletes who inspire our community with their dedication, courage, and heart.
Join us for the laughs, the chills, the cheers … and the warm feeling you get from doing something amazing (don’t worry, we’ll also have actual warm places to stand afterward).
Registration begins at 10:00am
Amenities: Change rooms, bathrooms, warming station, refreshments
