Welcome to the website for the second Scouting the Moon 5k/10k Trail Races being held on October 6th, 2024 at the Clearview Pavilion in Moon Park. This event is organized by Scouts BSA Troop 198 in Moon Township and all proceeds will go to support the Troop and Scouts on their path to Eagle. The values of Scouting found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law are just as relevant today as they were in 1910. The programs continue to help youth develop skills to last a lifetime in the areas of leadership, self-confidence, ethics, academic skills, citizenship, and much more through trying new things and providing service to others. Your participation will help defray the cost of organizing the event. These items include the purchase of equipment, maintenance of the troop trailer, purchase the many merit badges and awards earned by the Scouts and fund campouts and activities throughout the year.
