The 'Cellar LOVES bringing new singer-songwriter talent into our quiver of musicians...so we are thrilled to bring you our debut show with Scotty McWalter!
BIO:
"Redwine & Whiskey is the melancholy sounds of singer/songwriter/guitarist Scotty McWalter. Scotty has been a working Musician and Recording Engineer at various levels since 1993. Today he enjoys performing his originals and his own renditions of his favorite Country & Classic songs.
Scotty started his professional career in 1993 when he moved from Concord, MA to Orlando, FL. In 1994, Scotty completed his formal education and started working as a Recording Engineer in many of the local recording studios in Orlando and the surrounding areas. This presented Scotty with opportunities to work with some great songwriters and successful bands such as Molly Hatchet, Allman Brothers, Adrian Belew, and Matchbox 20.
Scotty moved to Colorado in 1997 with his music partner at the time Ryan Rister. Scotty and Ryan performed as an acoustic duo for many years, after which Scotty formed a new Jam Band style group called Burning Abigail. Burning Abigail released their first full length CD in 2009.
In 2013, Scotty began to break into the Colorado country music scene as a part-time vocalist and rhythm guitarist, performing with many of the areas local and current country bands, all the while pursuing and working on his current solo country act.
