About this Event

In 1962, a Scottsdale Deputy Marshall was involved in a life-threatening motorcycle collision. How did his survival change the future of the city? It would require Scottsdale to transform from a small town to a growing city with amenities and resources. Hear the story as part of Scottsdale Stories & Sweets.

Presented by the City of Scottsdale and Citizen Advisor, Bruce Wall. All ages welcome! Treats available while supplies last.

Please RSVP to help us plan for food and beverage quantities.

THIS EVENT IS PART OF JUNE DAYS.

This presentation is hosted in the Community Design Studio, a building that looks like an old church (because it was!) and is on the northeast corner of 75th Street and Indian School Road.

We have limited parking on the west and north sides of the building, but you can park in the lot to the north at the Methodist Church. Please avoid parking on the west side of the church that is used for the daycare parents to drop-off/pick up their children. Review the map below of the Community Design Studio and the Methodist Church parking lots — please park in the green areas only.
