The Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) and its member galleries are pleased to announce the Scottsdazzle-themed Gold Palette ArtWalk. Held Thursday, Dec. 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., this holiday event serves as the perfect opportunity to get into the festive spirit while finding gifts for art lovers on the holiday shopping lists.
“During the holidays, the streets of Old Town bring the joy of the season to life, and there is something particularly magical about bundling up to do some holiday shopping amid festive décor and ambiance,” said SGA President Jinger Richardson. “With many of our member art galleries stocked with incredible gifts for the giving season, there is no better time to stroll, shop and get into the spirit of the season!”
The SGA Gold Palette ArtWalk takes place throughout the Scottsdale Arts District — along Main St. from Scottsdale Rd. to Goldwater Blvd. and north of Indian School Rd. on Marshall Way to 5th Ave., and within member galleries. The area, along with all of Old Town Scottsdale, will be aglow with Scottsdazzle décor and holiday spirit, adding to the joy and whimsy of this art-centric event. As guests stroll through the streets and the shops, they can enjoy live entertainment including traditional stroller carolers, as well as themed experiences within each participating gallery. The following events are taking place within SGA member galleries:

Bonner David Galleries
7040 E. Main St.
The gallery is pleased to present “La Femme: Candlelight and Gems,” the first solo Scottsdale exhibition by acclaimed sculptor Estella Fransbergen. The exhibition debuts with a special reception during the ArtWalk. Renowned for her evocative sculptural works celebrating the beauty and strength of the female form, Fransbergen brings together artistry and elegance through her signature torsos adorned with exquisite gemstones. Each sculpture is meticulously hand-sculpted in clay or porcelain, embodying Fransbergen’s devotion to craftsmanship and her reverence for nature’s splendor.
Legacy Gallery
7178 E. Main St.
Legacy Gallery’s Annual Small Works Show returns, featuring a special sale event that coincides with the Scottsdazzle-themed Gold Palette ArtWalk. All works will be sold by draw, creating an exciting and fair opportunity for collectors to acquire their favorite pieces.
The exhibition will run through Wednesday, Dec. 31, showcasing an exceptional selection of small-scale works across diverse mediums and subjects. During the ArtWalk, Legacy Gallery will also feature an exceptional trunk show hosted by Tsali Hall (Navajo), director of Palace Jewelers at Manitou Galleries and one of today’s leading experts in turquoise and Native American jewelry. Hall will showcase rare works from the Chipeta Collection, an extraordinary selection of historic Native American jewelry dating from the 1880s through the 1940s and representing the foundations of Navajo, Zuni and Pueblo silversmithing.
The Marshall Gallery
7106 E. Main St.
In alignment with the ArtWalk, The Marshall Gallery presents “Winterlight: Season of Illumination,” a vibrant exhibition that captures the wonder of light through color, texture and movement. Showcasing the inspired works of four contemporary artists, Erica Vhay, Joseph Maruska, Don Quade and w.e. pugh, this exhibition invites art enthusiasts to experience a season illuminated by imagination. Guests can meet the artists and enjoy light bites and beverages during the ArtWalk.
On the Edge Gallery
7045 E. Main St.
During the event, On the Edge Gallery features works from artists Peggy Orbon, Joanna Pregon and Gary Vulcano. Orbon focuses on painting en plein air, capturing the landscapes before the light changes too much. She uses this concept of plein air painting as a source when creating larger studio paintings as well. With oil on canvas, flowing well-defined lines and soft gradients, Pregon creates a rich world that is balanced and inviting. Most of what she paints is non-subjective, dreamy and reminiscent of shapes from nature. Vulcano says that while there is no blueprint for what he creates or how it is created, all his works are an integral combination of creative spontaneity and technical skill.
The Signature Gallery
Art enthusiasts, collectors and shoppers are invited to celebrate the magic of the season while previewing a special showcase of miniatures on display at The Signature Gallery. This exquisite collection of small-scale sculptures by renowned contributing artists Jeremy Bradshaw, Raymond Gibby, Star York, Jammey Huggins, Fred Ortiz, and Ron and Sheila Ruiz features finely crafted works that are ideal for holiday gift-giving.
Wilde Meyer Gallery
4142 N. Marshall Way
Throughout December and coinciding with the Scottsdazzle-themed Gold Palette ArtWalk, Wilde Meyer Gallery presents “Western Exposure,” a show of contemporary Western art in a variety of styles and sizes, including small pieces that are perfect for holiday gift giving.
