About this Event
The day comprises a workshop made up of five events showing different elements of the tree climbing profession in a relaxed recreational workshop.
- Speed climb
- Work climb
- Aerial rescue
- Throwline
- Ascent
- Sunday will include a Masters Climb
Although not an ITCC event, it is hoped this will increase interest in tree climbing competitions.
Requirements
(arrival at 9:00am for kit checks for competitors)
- Climbing kit with current LOLER certificate.
- Tree climbing and aerial rescue competence (card must be shown at event).
- PPE (Helmet etc.)
Please bring your own lunch and refreshments.

Camping overnight at the Scottish Tree Climbing Competition
Tents and camper vans are welcome at Camperdown this year. We have available pitches for 15-20 tents and van space so please join us for an evening amongst the trees. Common sense rules apply- pick up your rubbish, use the toilet facilities and no fires on the grass. Off ground cooking only please.
For those needing a roof, there is a Premier Inn just at the entrance to Camperdown, about 10mins walk from the campsite.
