As a founding member of sketch comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall, Thompson went on to play in “The Larry Sanders Show,” “More Tales of the City,” “Hannibal,” “DON'T TALK TO IRENE (KCFF18),” and “MOUTH CONGRESS (KCFF21).” As Buddy Cole, he was The Colbert Report's correspondent for the 2014 Winter Olympics, and appeared in Netflix's 2022 comedy special "Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration." 🎬
