Scott Pemberton’s sound is much like the vibe of his native Portland: freaky, fun and just the right amount of weird. One thing is clear when you hear SPOT: This is something fresh! Rooted in the familiar, yet utterly groundbreaking, this nimble power trio create their own amalgamation of progressive roots music blending deep jazz, blues, rock/grunge, funk and psychedelia; often during the same song.
Driven by Scott’s wildly unorthodox approach to the guitar, improvisation and songwriting, every concert is a journey into unexplored sonic realms. Emanating an authentic sense of joy throughout their performances, this band makes it evident that they view making music as an honor and a gift. Scott has some rich history at the Crazy Horse. We can assure he'll be pulling out all the stops as he returns to this legendary stage for the first time in many years.
