Scott Nolan brings his full band back to Blue Note Park!Scott Nolan is an acclaimed Folk/Roots songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and poet from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Treaty One territory. Releasing 7 albums since 2005, Scott will release a new album this December. He is known for his intimate, engaging performances and often humourous ‘patter’ between songs.
Hayes Carll, Mary Gauthier, William Prince, and many others have recorded his songs. He has co-written with Hayes, Mary, William Prince, among others. He is perhaps best known for ‘Bad Liver and a Broken Heart’, which Hayes Carll made ‘famous’.
Scott has toured with Hayes, Mary, James McMurtry, Fred Eaglesmith and very recently with fellow singer-songwriter Joe Nolan. Over the past decade or so, he produced albums for William Prince, Lynne Hanson, Watermelon Slim, Stephen Fearing, and many others.
