He depicts the tragedy of traumatic brain injury due to the misuse of alcohol, and the long road to physical, mental and emotional recovery. Scott gives an honest and unabashed first-hand perspective about the consequences of poor decision making. He not only details the horror that affected him personally, but the nightmare that his family and close friends had to endure. His experiences involving hospitalization, rehabilitation and emotional upheaval are part of the narrative.
