About this Event
What’s it about?
The Higher Education sector is facing an unprecedented time of scrutiny. From AI and accommodation shortages, to the impact of Brexit and Covid on funding and recruitment, UK and Scottish HEIs are facing an uncertain future.
Whilst we are used to working in competition, it is clear we are all facing similar obstacles and that there is much to learn from each other.
That’s why we are bringing together representatives from Scotland’s HEI comms teams to discuss the main issues and opportunities, share best practice and connect with your peers.
Why should I go?
You’ll get to hear from expert speakers in the sector, discuss what has/hasn’t worked in a supportive and creative space, and network (or just enjoy a friendly chat) with new and old faces.
Who will I hear from?
Topics proposed for discussion include:
- AI - pros and cons
- Rankings and impact – REF, DORA and everything in between
- Roundtable discussion groups
When and where?
The conference will take place at the University of Glasgow’s Senate Room on Thursday 14 November, from 10am to 3pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and those that wish to can join our post conference social session at Curler’s Rest on Byres Road.
Please share this with colleagues in your team. If you have any queries, you can contact [email protected].
