The Scottish Students' Debating Council in collaboration with the Glasgow University Union Debating Society and Copenhagen EUDC 2025 are ecstatic to announce that we are hosting a debating training academy for beginner and intermediate debaters. The training academy will directly follow SSDC Pro-Am which is taking place on the 25th January. All workshops will take place in person. All workshops will be recorded and posted online after their delivery. We will post a finalised schedule closer to the time. We will have two tracks with concurrent workshops - beginner and intermediate. All workshops will be highly interactive, applied, and attendee led. We are also going to have a panel discussion on society development and competition organising committee roles chaired by our very own SSDC President Nora Flynn-McIver!
