About this Event
The Orchestra teams up with Scopwick Village Hall to raise money for the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Charity. The concert opens with Fauré's whimsical suite, ‘Masques et Bergamasques’ followed by Schubert's Introduction and Rondo for Violin and Orchestra, performed by Orchestra Leader Caroline Siriwardena. The first half concludes with the beautiful Fauré Pavane. The concert finishes with Mozart's Symphony No. 40 (K550), one of the last works he composed, a work full of drama and unexpected harmonies as well as the beatuy you expect from this great composer. Admission is free with a retiring collection in aid of the charity.
