Ready to use your skills to make a real-world impact? Unlike traditional hackathons focused on coding, the Scopeathon focuses on scoping civic data and tech projects—a crucial first step in creating solutions that are actionable, adopted, and create impact.
We will engage organizations from the Pittsburgh area to define and scope projects aimed at enhancing their programs. Students will work in teams with peers who share a passion for using data to drive positive change, collaborating with local nonprofits and government agencies to scope civic data and tech projects to create impactful solutions.
Benefits of Participation
- Collaborate with Purpose: Partner with local organizations to scope impactful projects.
