🥾 ABOUT THE WALK 🥾
⚔️ The Bosworth 1485 Trail Walk - SCOPE WALK ONLY (we will release this as an actual lead walk early next year)
Parking: On-site (charges apply) - approx £5 for the day.
Leader: Julia Doherty
Step back in time and follow in the footsteps of kings! This stunning circular route takes us through the rolling Leicestershire countryside where the famous Battle of Bosworth took place, the moment that changed English history forever.
Along the way, we’ll explore sections of the official 1485 Trail, passing scenic farmland, ancient hedgerows, and key landmarks that bring the story of Richard III to life. It’s a walk full of history, open views, and a real sense of place.
We’ll pause for refreshments and plenty of photos.
Whether you’re a history buff, nature lover, or simply fancy a day out on a trail steeped in legend, this one’s not to be missed!
