In Honor of Veterans Day, the Sturgis & Meade County Historical Society will have a Scoop of History titled "Who Were the Men of Company F, 109th ENG Regiment (Combat), 34th Division?" presented by Beverly Rosenboom. This presentation is based on research of the lives of the men listed on the "July, 1941 Official Roster, Camp Claiborne, Louisiana." Eighty-eight of the 107 service members listed on the roster are from South Dakota—most from Sturgis and the Black Hills area.
