About this Event
Join us for our scone zone class! In this hands on class, you'll learn how to make our most popular pastry - the buttermilk scone.
Before you get down to baking, you’ll learn about the science and chemistry of butter, baking soda and baking powder, how to make buttermilk at home and skills that every great home baker needs.
We will teach you how to make both sweet and savoury scones and give you some great flavour pairing ideas to use at home.
You'll go home with 6 savoury scones and 6 sweet scones and a recipe package for future reference.
Please note: this class requires long periods of standing at our work tables but we can accommodate sitting breaks in our office should that be required!
