About the lecture
Throughout history, theatre performances have created the illusion of ghosts or spirits on stage through clever engineering and the use of optical physics. Magicians in later years took these techniques to perfect the magic of stage phantoms, often calling themselves conjurors. In the spirit of the season, local award-winning magician Danny Schreiber will examine some of the tricks, technology, and secrets used by these innovators to haunt our imaginations.
