Next up in our 2025 Science on Screen® film + lecture series is the classic film, "Challengers" (2024) and it's going to be a blast!
Join us on Thursday, April 17 at Connecticut State Community College at Housatonic for a special screening of the acclaimed 2024 film "Challengers"— the romantic sports drama directed by Luca Guadagnino, starring Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach, who becomes entangled in a complex love triangle with her husband, Art Donaldson (Mike Faist), a tennis champion on a losing streak, and his former best friend and her ex-boyfriend, Patrick Zweig (Josh O'Connor), leading to intense personal and professional confrontations.
The evening kicks off at 5:30 PM in the performing arts center with complimentary bites and refreshments in the lobby, followed by a dynamic panel discussion on Nutrition and Fitness in Sports and Beyond at 6:00 PM. At 6:30 PM, settle in for the screening of the film.
