Science Mixer: Toronto

The importance of exchanging ideas and collaboration has only been highlighted by the pandemic. And in fact, some of the best ideas are generated over a drink with colleagues!

With this in mind, the Twist team is hosting a Science Mixer in Toronto - join us for a drink, meet other like-minded scientists, learn more about Twist’s disruptive silicon-based DNA synthesis technology. Whether you are attending SynBio Canada or are local to the area - all are welcome.

• Public access to the MaRS Centre is available via the following entrance points: 661 University Ave pedestrian entrance (beside Starbucks), 661 University Ave parking garage, PMCRT College St pedestrian entrance (beside Mercatto). Monday-Friday 8am-5pm only.
• Vaccinations are mandatory to enter the MaRS Centre. Upon arrival all event guests will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated and in good health.
• Face masks and/or coverings are mandatory when entering the MaRS Centre and throughout the common areas including the Atrium, Lower Concourse, public washrooms and elevators.
• Face masks and/or coverings are encouraged within all event spaces. Event clients are responsible for communicating face mask/coverings requirements on a per event basis to guests within their assigned event spaces.
• Face masks and/or coverings are not required in established locations where food and beverage is being served/consumed. Guests may not bring food into the public spaces for consumption.
• All clients, speakers and guests are asked to wear face masks and/or coverings while interacting with venue staff and AV technicians.
• Physical distancing in public spaces including elevators and washrooms will no longer be required; please respect the furniture layouts in all cases
