Come learn some new magic tricks with a science spin!
About this Event

Science is Magic is an interactive workshop developed by Adrian Garcia Burgos with funding from the Royal Sociaty of Chemistry. Adrian will be providing a fun filled training session that will allow participants to deliver the Science is Magic workshop themselves.

This is an excellent training to take part in if you are involved in public engagement and are looking for new activities to deliver. The workshop is aimed at 8-12 year olds, so it is ideal for Primary School engagement. See below for more details.

The workshop: an interactive session for primary schools to learn about science, magic, chemistry, and biology. The activities are designed to be low cost and explain concepts like chemistry with no nasty chemical involved. The workshop is highly interactive, and the young people will be taught the tricks so that they can preform them themselves. Making science fun again!

Future opportunities: after this training please let me know if you are still interested in getting involved. I will put you in contact with different schools to deliver the workshop. The days, schools and class age are optional, pupils will love this STEM event being delivered in their class. Of course, you can also use what you have learned in your own schools or projects as well. Please join!

Huge thank you to the Royal Society of Chemistry and ScotChem for their funding and support.
