We are offering three separate days of activities as part of our summer Science is Fun Series.
Session 1 - June 18, 2024 from 9AM to Noon
Hey there, science enthusiasts! In our first session we delve into the world of science and uncover the fun in experiments. The lineup includes a range of activities, from making a volcano erupt to crushing objects with air, weighing air, building a paper wing, and measuring wind speed. So, buckle up and get ready for an adventure filled with science and fun!
Session 2 - June 27, 2024 from 9AM to Noon
For session 2, we science enthusiasts will delve into some fascinating experiments that explore the world of science focusing on the concepts of sinking and floating, measuring displacement, water pressure, and even making an underwater volcanoe.
Session 3 - July 12, 2024 from 9AM to Noon
Time to take science to the next level. In the final session in our Science is Fun series we will conduct amazing experiments that will teach you how hot and cold things react together. You'll build a simple thermometer and learn how to slice ice. Plus, as the final session for this fun science program we will wrap up the day making ice cream we can all enjoy as our final experiment!
