While the Pleistocene evokes images of woolly mammoths and sabertoothed cats, the epoch was filled with diverse and enormous animals. Exploring beyond our home here in North America, join Katie Wedderstrand to learn about the strangest Ice Age animals from all over the world!
Katie (Stetson '23) found her passion for museums and the prehistoric by working at the Gillespie Museum during the last two years of her degree. She involved herself in whatever project was available, eventually putting those skills to use towards a career in museums. Now, Katie works at the Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, Science & History as a Planetarium Educator, informing individuals of all ages about the stars and the far-gone history of our Earth.
