Get hands-on with some tasty, edible science these school holidays! Science Bites is an edible science workshop for tamariki aged 8-12 years old. Learn about rainbow diffraction chocolate, make your own gummy worms, explore some glow-in-the-dark jelly, and more! All the projects in this workshop are safe to eat, meaning kids can taste their creations as they learn.
Tamariki will be excited to come home and share their new understanding of how science can be found in our everyday lives, even our kitchens!
Workshops include a complimentary planetarium show.
Tamariki can be dropped-off in the morning and picked-up afterwards; caregivers are not required to stay for the duration of the workshop. Tamariki should bring a packed lunch.
This workshop will involve handling and consuming some known allergens and substances your child may be sensitive to. Please refer to the Space Place website.
Best suited to ages 8-12 $65 per tamariki.
