Join us for a winemaker dinner with Andy Schweiger from Schweiger Vineyards and Master Sommelier George Miliotes. Enjoy a coursed dinner alongside pairings from this Spring Mountain producer in Napa Valley. In 1961, Fred Schweiger purchased 55 acres atop of Spring Mountain. After years of clearing the property and planting vineyards, in 1984 they celebrated their first harvest. Over the next ten years, Fred sold fruit to notable producers in Napa Valley such as Stags Leap Winery and Newton. After the first ten years of selling their fruit, in 1994 they produced the first vintage for Schweiger Vineyards. Since 1994, they have helped lead the charge on important sustainable initiatives such as integrated pest management in the vineyards.
All of Schweiger’s fruit is estate grown, bottled and produced in Spring Mountain at high elevation. Schweiger’s wines are aged for three years before release and can age for over 20 years. As a family affair, this multi-generational team has worked together for over 20 years producing some incredible wines.
