Welcome to Schubertiade 2025!
Please join us on Saturday, November 15, at 2 PM for our annual Schubertiade to celebrate the life and music of Franz Schubert (1797-1828). This year’s program will be very special, featuring one of Schubert’s most beloved chamber works – the “Trout” Quintet (D. 667). Also on the program will be Hummel’s Piano Quintet, Op. 87, along with select Schubert lieder sung by the magnificent bass/baritone, Steven Scheschareg. Performers will be pianist, Itay Goren, along with members of the Madison String Quartet (Evelyn Estava, violin; Gerall Hieser, cello) and artists Gabriela Rengel (viola) and Gennaro Marchese (double bass).
