Or you know, prove you absolutely wrong. Either way, there’s going to be a whole lot of laughter.Schrodinger’s Comedian is a night of comedic uncertainty, where every joke is both funny and not funny until it is heard. Ticket holders are invited to put their name into Schrodinger’s Box, for the chance to perform one minute of uninterrupted stand up comedy. What if you're not that funny? Don't worry, you'll have a chat with comedy powerhouse Dave Eastgate and local legend Slappy Tee after your one minute, and they'll bring out your inner comic, leaving you and the audience in stitches.
Guided by a panel of local and interstate comedians, this event hopes to give curious would-be-comics a space to take to the stage in a fun and supportive space. We might find new diamonds in the rough, whilst giving established comedians a place to try new material. The line between performer and audience blurs, and the stage is open to anyone brave enough to take the spotlight.
