Help Us Build a Schoolyard That Inspires!Heritage Academy is transforming its yard into an invigorating Outdoor Classroom and Sensory Garden.
We need your support to make this vision a reality.
The project kicks off with a community planting event on Tuesday, October 21st, (rain day October 23rd). Please stop by between 2-4 pm to see the work begin and meet the students and volunteers who are making this transformation happen!
With a pro-bono design from the architectural firm Architecture49, the school plans to create a multi-functional green space featuring native plant beds, an accessible outdoor classroom with a pergola, and specialized play areas designed to support the physical and emotional well-being of its students.
This project will provide a safe, therapeutic, and engaging outdoor learning environment for our students. while also revitalizing a historical part of Little Italy. https://www.heritage-academy.com/schoolyard
