The 4 S's of Authentic Inclusion: Helping Children Feel Safe and Seen at School

Learn how to adopt Dr. Daniel Siegel's 4 S's of Attachment to help all children and teens feel safe and seen in educational settings. Learn about how classrooms and schools can become safe-feeling places for all students to learn, be creative, move, dance, sing, share emotions, and make friends. Become part of the educational paradigm shift using relationship science to support authentic inclusion and belonging.


ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:

Monika Ferenczy

Monika has more than 25 years of experience as an elementary and secondary educator. As an educational consultant for more than 10 years, she now supports families and care teams across the province by informing and empowering them to meet students’ needs.


Lisa Pinhorn

Lisa has been in practice for over 25 years, supporting school and community inclusion for students who are Autistic, have Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and developmental trauma. She is a fierce advocate for neuro-divergent family culture and neuro-affirming practices. Lisa educates and empowers the key adults in children's lives to understand that relationships are EVERYTHING. Cultivating calm, connected and compassionate environments where all children can thrive is possible. Parents, caregivers and educators can become powerful agents of change in their homes, schools and communities.
