The Stratford Public Schools Board of Education is undertaking a planning process to balance enrollment across its elementary, middle, and high school facilities. To date, the process has been overseen by the Board's School Plant and Planning sub-committee, with technical assistance provided by MP Planning Group and SLAM. The sub-committee has reviewed ten-year enrollment projections, undertaken a capacity & utilization study, and evaluated five redistricting approaches. After careful review, the sub-committee has recommended that two redistricting scenarios (Scenario 1 and Scenario 3) move forward to the full Board of Education and public for a more through review process.

This map shows the proposed elementary attendance zones under Scenario 1. To understand the impacts to you and your family, please use the magnifying glass in the upper left-hand corner to search by address. If you have location enabled on your device, click on the cross hairs on the bottom right of the map (just above the home button). This will zoom to your current location. You can also zoom in and out with the "+" and "-" buttons located in the lower right.
Click on your address on the map to see which elementary, middle, and high school you would be assigned to under Scenario 1. No changes to the existing middle and high school feeder patter are being considered, although the boundaries would align with the new elementary attendance zones.
Lordship "Flex" Zone
Lordship Elementary School is too small to support two teachers in every grade. A flexible approach that includes an attendance zone and an administrative placement policy is needed in efficiently use the building. Currently, more than half of Lordship students live outside the attendance zone. Scenario 1 creates a flexible attendance zone called the Lordship "Flex" zone. Students in this area may attend either Johnson House or Lordship depending on available space.
Scenario 3 Boundaries
