This special workshop is for yogis and yoga teachers interested in the yoga of music. If you have ever enjoyed chanting in yoga class or wish to eventually lead chanting with confidence in your own class, this afternoon is for you.
Learn:
- The notes of the Indian scale and how to use them to refine your voice
- How to chant and lead the chanting of Om
- How to chant simple #sanskrit #mantras for joy and upliftment
- ALL whilst playing this delightful and charming instrument.
If you don't have a harmonium, please let us know. We can loan you an instrument for the afternoon.
Keith is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, the Director of BIJA Yoga, the creator of BIJA Yoga Teacher-training, and a life-long classically-trained musician and music teacher. He has also studied and practiced Sanskrit devotional music for over 30 years and is the Sanskrit Language Teacher and Coach for Opera Australia.
