Immerse yourself in the amazing world of emotions with Dan Newby. Three days to learn, reflect, and wonder in inspirational New Mexico
About this Event

What is it?

A global gathering that will focus on deepening your understanding of emotions and the ways they enrich our lives through the tool of emotional literacy. When we embrace emotions as a gift and see them as an undeniable dimension of our humanity, we begin to see all the ways they support us. We are able to befriend them and take advantage of the wisdom they offer.

Dan Newby's approach to emotions is logical, practical, and refreshingly simple. He, along with other expert practitioners, will lead you through a transformational three days.

Who is it for?

Anyone interested in learning a new interpretation of emotions and their role in:

  • Daily navigation of life's challenges
  • Well-being and resilience
  • Generating healthy relationships
  • Leadership and organisations
  • Shaping culture, diversity, and inclusion
  • Creating and resolving global issues
  • The creative arts

Space is limited to 40 participants - 25 staying on-site and 15 commuters

What will we do?

The three days will be filled with immersive presentations, exercises, and action learning. There will be time to build and deepen relationships, explore the incredible locale, and spend time in reflection and discovery.

Where will it be?

Synergia Ranch (https://synergiaranch.com), which is located a 20-minute drive from Santa Fe and 45 minutes from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

What does it cost?
  • The cost per person for participation, 3 nights' accomodation, and meals is $1295*. Travel to and from the gathering is not included.
  • If you choose to stay off-site tuition and meals costs $995 and you will need to arrange lodging and commuting.
  • To reserve your place select the ticket for the $300 refundable deposit and we will arrange the balance of your payment later.
  • You can register and pay here or save administration fees by contacting me for direct registration and invoicing at [email protected].

*If you would like to attend but find the cost prohibitive please write to me at [email protected] and we'll explore options.

What about housing and meals?

Synergia Ranch can accommodate about 25 on-site participants. A portion of the rooms have bathrooms en-suite and the rest share bathrooms and showers. On-site and en-suite lodging are limited and assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

All meals from dinner on Thursday to lunch on Sunday will be provided. The menu will be shaped by what is available in the organic gardens at the time of the year we visit, supplemented by other organic producers. Meals will be vegetarian (will include eggs and cheese, but no meats, poultry, or fish).

When do I arrive and leave?

Check-in will be from 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 17th. We will have a light dinner and time to meet one another. Each day we will have a communal breakfast and convene at 9 a.m. We will have lunch and dinner together and there will be events offered on the evenings of the 18th and 19th. Check-out will be by 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th.

Who else will be there?

Previous gatherings have been attended by coaches, consultants, psychologists, therapists, educators, facilitators, and students. The mix of backgrounds and interests will be rich which adds immeasurably to the depth of our conversations.

What else do I need to know?

You will receive a certificate of participation that reflects 20 hours of learning appropriate for submission to ICF for CCEs.

Who should I contact if I have questions?
