About this Event
Join picture book illustrator and artist Ben Clifford for a creative morning exploring the art of illustration. Start new drawings or bring works in progress and gain insights from Ben’s experience. Children are encouraged to bring a picture prompt. Scribbles, notes and rough sketches that go into the making of a book will be on display.
About Ben Clifford
Born and raised in a leafy Tasmanian suburb, Ben Clifford began illustrating after travelling to England in his twenties. With a background in photography and graphic design, his first picture book was published in 2017. His work includes a 2020 Speech Pathology shortilisted book of the year award. Ben held his first painting exhibition in 2019, supported by Clarence Arts and Events. He continues to live and work in Tasmania.
