Teachers join us with your students to Celebrate National Kite Month through Flight on Thursday, Apr. 17 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Students will discover how kites and flight have shaped the history of the Albemarle Region and continue to have a major impact on the area. Students will enjoy the presentation, The Spirit of Wilbur Wright by Paul Carr, meet representatives of the aviation field and participate in hands-on activities.
