You're invited to join us as we view the mounds created in the manner of Indigenous Americans. Afterwards we'll step onto a walking path.About this Event
This will be a moderately paced walk on unpaved paths. Stepping over obstacles like fallen trees will be necessary at times. This forest is full of many deer so we'll likely see lots of them grazing. Its also a big forest preserve. There is a nice sledding hill that provides great views of this expanisve space that we'll climb to finish the walk.
We meet in the parking lot of grove 2 near the picnic shelter. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and hiking boots. I also recommend you bring water to stay hydrated.
