This will be a moderately paced walk on unpaved paths. Stepping over obstacles like fallen trees will be necessary at times. This forest is full of many deer so we will see lots of them grazing. It is also a big forest preserve. There is a nice sledding hill that provides great views of this expansive preserve that we will climb to finish the walk.
We meet in the parking lot of grove 2 near the picnic shelter. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and hiking boots. I also recommend you bring water to stay hydrated.
