Jennifer Boley (Master Gardener and Sunshine Community Gardener) will take you on a deep dive into choosing the correct tomato varieties for you and tips on achieving tomato growing success in our challenging central Texas environment. You’ll see examples of the proper ways Sunshine Community Gardeners are growing various tomato varieties.

  • Planting Seeds vs. Transplants
  • Proper Feeding and Watering

Jennifer Boley is a and Founder and Director of , a nonprofit with the mission of helping people of all ages and backgrounds lead more outdoor-oriented lives for better health, well-being, and resilience.

She is also the Director of , a NEO initiative that partners with community members to improve outdoor, nature, park, and food equity in historically marginalized communities. NEO manages an Urban Learning Garden plot at Sunshine Community Gardens directly across from the office building. It is the Certified Monarch Waystation plot with the honeysuckle arbor.
