About this Event
Scentography (n.)
/ˈsent-ä-grə-fē/
A sensory-based storytelling practice that uses fragrance as a narrative tool to capture & project memory, identity, culture, and emotion.
In Scentography, perfumes aren’t just worn—they’re composed like poetry or music. Each blend becomes a personal archive, mapping moments, moods, places, and people through scent.
This practice blends elements of olfactory science, cultural studies, creative writing, and intuitive blending to empower individuals to tell their stories—without words.
This immersive series invites participants to explore the world of scent through storytelling, memory, and hands-on fragrance creation. Whether you're brand new to perfume or ready to dive deep into the art of blending, this three-level course meets you where you are.
This three-part scent discovery series takes place on the following dates and times. More information and tickets can be found here. Workshops can be taken individually ($75 + EB fees) or as a three-part series ($200):
- Beginner Scentography: Friday, May 2, 6-7:30pm
- Intermediate Scentography: Friday, May 16, 6-7:30pm
- Advanced Scentography: Friday, June 6, 6-7:30pm
Across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sessions, students will:
Learn the basics of scent structure, olfactive families, and personal chemistry
- Explore the emotional and cultural power of fragrance
- Use mood boards, journaling, and creative exercises to connect scent to story
- Experiment with oils and ingredients to craft custom blends
- Leave each level with a handmade perfume or cologne and a deeper connection to their own sensory voice
At the heart of this class is the belief that scent is a language, and everyone has a story worth bottling.
About the teacher:
Tee Cameron is the founder of T3M Creative, a multidisciplinary studio where Scentography and Sensory Storytelling collide to create immersive, unforgettable experiences. Newer to the scene but deeply intentional in approach, Tee explores the power of fragrance not just as a scent but as a personal narrative—one that evokes memory, emotion, and deeper connections to self and space.
Though her main medium is Candles, Tee has found a way of blending scent with sound, texture, and even taste to create layered, sensory-driven dialogues. A single note of fragrance can transport, transform, and tether us to a moment in time.
