About this Event
Our Head of Floristry, Therese, will guide you through a part-demonstration, part hands-on experience where you will create your own scented citrus garland using dried Oranges, Lemons, Limes, and Grapefruits, and learn how to layer different types of garlands for maximum impact.
The class will start with an in-depth demonstration of modern techniques for creating the classic Christmas garland with our favourite types of pine and greenery. Therese will also demonstrate the art of vintage garland styling techniques, which will add a charming touch to your home.
Watch how this installation comes together with ethereal and natural findings, finished with ribbons and a selection of scented dried fruit garlands.
Your scented citrus garland creation is an example of sustainable and eco-friendly decorations for the festive season, which can be enjoyed for years to come and used again and again with fresh foliage or on their own.
All materials will be provided for you to compose and create your own fruit garlands. Once you have mastered this technique, it’s a fun and creative Christmas activity to share with friends and older children.
